Matte Black Kitchen & Sink Mixers
Matte Black kitchen and sink mixers, from everyday fixed-spout mixers to gooseneck and pull-out models for kitchens that work hard. A pull-out spray reaches across the sink to rinse pots and produce; a tall gooseneck gives clearance for big pots. Matte black gives strong contrast against white and light tiles and suits modern, industrial and coastal schemes. In hard-water areas, a quick wipe dry keeps marks from showing. This collection has 15 products in matte black across ranges including Otus Slimline, Linie, Clasico, Hali, Ruki and Aziz, from $107. Otus Slimline has slim SS304 stainless steel bodies; Linie uses lead-free brass with a line-textured lever. See each product's spec sheet for its WaterMark and WELS details. The range is priced against leading Australian retailers, and we ship Australia-wide from the Sutherland Shire, Sydney. Plumbers and builders can open a trade account.
How to choose
- Pull-out or fixed. Pull-out models (Otus Slimline, Clasico, Hali, Aziz and Otus) suit rinsing pots and cleaning the sink; a fixed spout is simpler.
- Spout height. Gooseneck spouts (Otus Slimline and Clasico) give more room under the spout for big pots.
- Square or round. Square-neck models (Linie and Hali) suit squared-edge sinks and benches; round suits almost anything.
- Tap hole. Most of our sink mixers fit a standard 35mm tap hole; confirm on the spec sheet, especially when replacing an old tap.
- Laundry too. Ruby is made to suit kitchen or laundry installs.
FAQs
Should I choose a pull-out or a fixed-spout sink mixer?
A pull-out is worth it if you rinse pots and produce, clean the sink often or have a double bowl. A fixed spout is simpler, with fewer moving parts. A gooseneck (high-arch) spout gives more clearance either way.
How do I keep matte black tapware looking good?
Wipe it with a soft cloth and mild soapy water, then dry it. Don't use abrasive pads, bleach or acid-based cleaners. In hard-water areas, drying after use stops white marks building up.
Are these products WaterMark certified and WELS rated?
Tapware sold in Australia must be WaterMark certified, and taps and showers carry a WELS water-efficiency rating. Each product's spec sheet shows its certification and, where it applies, the WELS star rating and flow rate.
