Stainless Sinks with Drainer

A sink with a built-in drainer gives dishes somewhere to drip without a rack taking over the bench, and the drainer slopes water back into the bowl. We stock two formats in 304 (18/8) grade stainless steel. The 800mm single bowl and drainer comes in left- and right-hand versions, so the drainer sits on whichever side has the space. The 1160mm double bowl with drainer is the largest format we carry, with two equal bowls plus a drainer, 480mm front to back. Both come with a rubber seal, mounting clips and basket waste. They suit laundries, granny flats, rentals and busy family kitchens where draining space matters more than a seamless undermount look. How to choose

• Left or right hand. The hand names the side the bowl is on; the drainer is on the other side. Put the drainer next to the dishwasher or the longest stretch of bench.
• 800mm or 1160mm. 800mm suits a standard kitchen or laundry run; 1160mm needs a long bench and suits a household that hand-washes a lot.
• Cut-out size. Order the sink before the benchtop is cut and give the installer the cut-out from the spec sheet.
• Tap position. Check where the tap hole sits (or whether the tap goes on the bench) before choosing your mixer.

Which way round is a left-hand bowl sink?

The bowl is on the left and the drainer is on the right. A right-hand bowl sink is the mirror image.
